We are truly lucky to know some amazing musicians in Edmonton. And I can proudly say that I’ve attended all the concert venues they’ve ever held. Even more so, as they’re coming out to perform for us this Saturday at the Etsy MADE in CANADA – Edmonton Market at Latitude 53. Get to know these awesome folks below.

Ella Coyes

Ella Coyes is a young folk musician and enrapturing singer/songwriter. Her soulful lyrics and unique vocal tone set an intimate quality in any venue, of which she has played many, including Kaleido Festival For The Arts, the recently recorded Song Stage at Cha Island, as well as an opening spot for renowned Canadian folk artist Craig Cardiff. Ella finds her muse coming from day to day life, like the first cup of tea in the morning, or the feeling of crawling into a bed with a set of freshly washed sheets. Her musical inspirations include the likes of Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Jeff Buckley and Lou Reed. Ella is currently working on her debut EP, no current release date set.

PaulPaul Woida

Paul Woida is a very strong instrumentalist/vocalist. He has the unique ability to make his songs sound full as if an entire band, orchestra and choir is performing in front of you with no one else but him on stage. Using cutting edge looping technology he builds the entire song live in front of you from the drums, to the bass, to the choir, to the strings to whatever else is needed, with impeccable timing and accuracy. Although Paul had been involved with music his whole life (since the age of 6), it wasn’t until his time at Grant Macewan that he discovered the secret behind achieving seemingly impossibly high goals; ridiculously hard work. Achieving such great success while studying there showed him that it is possible to do anything you put your mind and efforts towards. You just have to go all in. Paul has been playing more and more shows and his name is spreading out further and further. He has an amazing charisma and rapport with his audience and anywhere he goes he is rarely forgotten leaving his audiences both inspired and amazed.
